Imaging the Cosmos
Photography by Chris Hetlage

Welcome to my website featuring imaging techniques that capture the light and color of the universe. These images were acquired using a wide array of digital camera equipment, ranging from simple internet web cams to digital SLR's to scientific CCD cameras. There is so much beauty to behold in the universe and all it takes is a clear dark sky, a steady mount, and a dedicated passion to reveal the dim photons that shine on us each day and night. So take a tour in my gallery and enjoy.
